Advantages of LED lights

1. The lamp body is very small

The LED lamp is a small, very fine LED chip packaged in a transparent epoxy, so it is very small and very lightweight.

2. Very low energy consumption

The operating voltage of the LED chip is relatively small, and the operating current is reduced accordingly. Therefore, the power consumption of the LED lamp is relatively low, and the consumed electric energy is reduced by more than 90% than the incandescent lamp of the same luminous effect, and is reduced by more than 70% compared with the energy-saving lamp.

3. Sturdy and durable

The LED wafer is completely encapsulated in epoxy. The small epoxy resin particles are extremely difficult to break, and the entire lamp body has no loose parts; the inner wafer is extremely difficult to break, and there is little thermal effect which may volatilize and melt. Compared to ordinary light bulbs, fluorescent lamps, these features make LEDs difficult to damage.

4. LED lamp has a long service life

At the right current and voltage, the life of the LED lamp can reach 100,000 hours, which means that the product life is theoretically more than 10 years, which has a longer service life than other types of lamps.

5. Safe and low voltage

The LED lamp uses a low-voltage DC power supply. The supply voltage is between 6 and 48V. The voltage varies depending on the product. It uses a DC power supply that is safer than a high-voltage power supply.

6. Wide range of applications

Each LED chip is 3~5mm square or round, which is more suitable for the design of LED luminaire structure, which is beneficial to the design of better optical system.

7. More colorful

The traditional luminaire color is very simple. To achieve the purpose of color, one is to paint or cover the colored surface on the surface of the luminaire, and the other is to charge the luminaire with inert gas, so the richness of color is limited. LED is digital control, the light-emitting chip can emit a variety of colors, including red, green, blue three-color, through the system control, can control different colors.

8. Less heat dissipation

LED is an advanced cold light source. It does not radiate a large amount of infrared light and ultraviolet light like incandescent lamps and fluorescent lamps, and is suitable for various high-power outdoor lighting projects. LED lamps do not have the current thermal effect of incandescent lamps and do not burst due to thermal expansion and contraction. Will not make the bulb yellow, will not accelerate the aging of the lamp, and will not constitute a greenhouse effect on the surrounding environment.

9. Less environmental pollution

There are three aspects to the protection of LEDs in the environment:

Firstly, there is no danger of metallic mercury. LED lamps do not use high-hazard mercury like fluorescent lamps, and there is no public hazard such as mercury ions or phosphors during lamp manufacturing or after damage.

Secondly, the epoxy resin for manufacturing LED is an organic polymer compound, which has good physical and chemical properties after curing. It has high bonding strength to wafers and metals, is hard and flexible, and is stable to salt and alkali and most solvents, and is not easily damaged. It can be recycled and reused even after damage or aging, and will not pollute the environment.

Thirdly, the particle layout of LED lamps, the light produced is generally scattered, and rarely produces light pollution.

10. More cost savings

Compared with incandescent lamps and fluorescent lamps, the purchase price of LED lamps is higher. However, the energy consumption of LEDs is particularly low, and long-term use can save a lot of electricity bills, which can save the investment in replacing lamps, so the comprehensive use cost is more cost-effective.
